SCHEDULE:

Friday evening: 6:00-7:30 p.m. – Session 1: Introduction, Housekeeping

Saturday morning: 9:00-10:30 a.m.  – Session 2: History of Quakers and Publishing: How Early Friends engaged with the new communication technology of their day: the printing press.

Saturday late morning: 11:00-12:30 p.m. – Session 3: Present day relationship Quakers have with the internet. How is it useful? How might it be harming our health and our communities?

Saturday afternoon: 4:00-5:30 p.m. – Session 4: Looking to the future: Setting some intentions around Friends’ relationship with this powerful technology.

Sunday morning: 9:00-10:30 a.m.  – Session 5: closing, evaluations
