Hello friends – very sorry to say that this even won’t be happening this year after all. But we will continue to plan and hold events for teens here at Quaker Center! If you’re still looking for fun Quaker stuff to do this summer for the 15-17 year-old crowd:

Family Camp at Woolman: July 2-5
Teen Leadership Camp at Woolman: June 18-30 or July 9-21
Pacific Yearly Meeting annual session at Mount Madonna: July 21-26
Family Work Camp right here at Quaker Center: August 1-6

We are overjoyed to bring back Teen Camp for 15-17 year olds!
This will be a weekend to experience Quaker community and reconnect with simple camp joys and traditions. Teen Camp is a wonderful way to connect with others and grow your leadership skills.

Teens will stay together in Quaker Center’s Redwood Lodge, and be accompanied by Friendly Responsible Adult Presences (FRAPs).

This year, Teen Camp will be held simultaneously with a gathering of Young Adult Friends, who will stay in the Orchard Lodge. While Teen Camp and the YAF gathering will have their own activities and schedules, there will also be opportunities for ‘intergenerational’ fun and fellowship.

These events are a collaboration between Quaker Center and the Youth Programs Coordinating Committee of Pacific Yearly Meeting.

Payment for both Teen Camp and the YAF gathering is on a Pay-As-Led basis, with suggested tiers of $200 (reduced rate), $300 (standard rate), and $450 (comprehensive rate). We hope that no one will stay away due to lack of funds – scholarships are available.

Quaker Center’s Monthly Meeting Annual Pass can be used to send a young person to Teen Camp or the Young Adult Friend gathering. Ask if your Meeting has an Annual Pass.
