2021 Summer and Fall Calendar

Quaker Center is beginning to reopen this summer and fall. We are so grateful to be able to host in-person programs again and hold dear the friendships and connections we have made by holding online programs. As we joyfully welcome people on the land again, we hope to continue to offer online activities as well. We will be experimenting with various online possibilities as we go forward. Stay tuned to our website and newsletter for updates.

Personal and Family retreatsQuaker Center is open for your use and enjoyment. The Haven and Sojourner’s Cottage can be reserved up to three months in advance, and the Casa de Luz and Redwood Lodge Family Suite–outfitted with small kitchens–are available through the rest of the summer. This continues to be the best way to connect with the land individually or with family  through August.

Family Work Camp A work camp for all ages. Come spend time in good work, fun and fellowship at Quaker Center. Repair and improvement projects of all kinds. This year, we’ll build, fix, tend trails, clear brush, cook, and clean. As always, we’ll also worship, play, hike, sing and do nothing together. Registration begins June 15th.

Return to Quaker CenterAt last, we can come back and come together–let’s celebrate. Quaker Center made it through the pandemic and was nearly lost to the CZU Lighting fire. We’re glad to be here. Join us for a relaxed gathering, picnic and celebration of the QC and its community. Day visitors welcome; camping and overnight lodging will also be available. Thanks to all for supporting Quaker Center during this time! Registration required for overnight accommodations only.

Practices for Supporting Faithfulness – an online programMarcelle returns to Quaker Center with this online offering. In it, we’ll experiment with practices to help each other pay attention to the divine presence within. We’ll explore what can block our whole-hearted response, offer support for following the leadings of the Spirit, and form Faithfulness Groups.
