Things to Know about Personal Retreats
Personal retreats might include time for writing, meditation, study, reading, or simply time away from the normal routine. Sojourners (those using our facilities for personal retreat) are completely responsible for their own time and remain apart from any activities of other groups using Quaker Center.
Each facility has its own kitchen where sojourners bring and prepare their own food. |

| Pets are not allowed at Quaker Center.
Smoking is very restricted at Quaker Center. It is not permitted in any of the buildings or on any of the trails. Smoking is limited to the hard gravel parking surfaces outside of the Sojourners' Cottage and the Redwood Lodge. Candles can only be used with the prior permission of the Directors. Incense and strong perfumes are not permitted because the smells permeate fabrics and linger long beyond your stay.
Quaker Center has no housekeeping service and sojourners are expected to leave Quaker Center as it is found: clean and ready for the next group. There is a very simple clean-up procedure and cleaning materials are furnished.
