| The Redwood Lodge
In March 2005, Quaker Center finished the complete reconstruction of the Redwood Lodge dining room and kitchen. The new facility is expanded to comfortably accommodate groups up to 100. It is fully wheelchair accessible. The floor in the dining room is suspended to provide a low impact surface for movement and dance. The bedrooms remain as before, with two rooms accessible for wheelchairs.
The Redwood Lodge has its own kitchen and dining room for meals and meetings of up to 100 people. The Redwood Lodge has 2 types of sleeping rooms. There are four semi-private rooms that sleep up to four each in bunkbeds (16). There is one large, open dormitory room with eight twin beds (8) (Total beds: 24). All sleeping rooms are heated. Overflow bedrolling is possible in the lounge area on the first floor of the upper bunkhouse, the Haven -- formerly called the Arts Center -- (if available), or the dining room.
The facility has four full bathrooms. |
