





Using Public Transit to get to Quaker Center (last updated 1/11/01)
An Overview
Reaching Quaker Center by public transit generally involves several transfers. You will almost certainly go through:
- the San Jose Diridon Station and/or
- the Santa Cruz Metro Center
Get to the San Jose Diridon Station by Amtrak, the Caltrain or VTA buses.
Reach the Santa Cruz Metro Center by Greyhound or the Amtrak connecting bus from San Jose.
From either hub take Santa Cruz Metro buses to Ben Lomond. Or carpool with another member of your group. (Contact your registrar for information on carpooling).
Quaker Center is 1.5 miles up a steep hill from the bus stop. If arrangements are made in advance, staff can pick up sojourners and participants in Quaker center programs. Rental groups are responsible for their own transportation.
