Friends Committee on Legislation: A Quaker lobbying group located in Sacramento, CA that seeks to educate state lawmakers and the public about peace and justice and the worth of every individual. Friends House: A Quaker-run retirement community located in Santa Rosa, CA that offers services ranging from independent living apartments and houses to a skilled nursing facility. Sierra Friends Center: A Quaker educational facility, located outside of Nevada City, CA. Their Woolman Semester is a dynamic and innovative program designed for high school juniors and seniors, focussed on helping individual students nurture their own unique vision and passion. Pacific Mountain Regional Office of the American Friends Service Committee: This branch of the AFSC has programs serving Northern California, Nevada, and Utah.
